Bare Grills Bath has quickly established itself as a go-to destination for meat lovers in Bath. Located at 10 Upper Borough Walls, this restaurant impresses with its vibrant atmosphere and hearty portions. The reviews reveal a consistent theme: the food is not only flavorful but also generous. For first-timers like Steve Turner, the iconic Tower—a three-tier presentation of burgers, beef ends, and sticky ribs—captures attention and is clearly a standout dish.
Laura Boulton’s experience echoes this sentiment, as her homemade burnt ends and seasoned naked dirty fries were a hit. The quality is undeniable, with each dish crafted to satiate even the heartiest appetites. Diners like Nicholas Goodall rave about the portion sizes and attentive service, ensuring a satisfying experience. Maddie Wood’s review highlights the commendable effort of the staff who manage to deliver great service despite the busy environment—though it calls for better treatment of employees.

First time in a Bare Grills and what an experience. Not sure what to expect but watching the food come out is great. I ordered a ring of meat, which is probably the worst thing to order. It's a burger in a bun. That's it. The most popular around us was the Tower. Looked great. A 3 tier cake stand with 2 burgers in a bun on top, beef ends in the middle then sticky ribs on the bottom. The tray comes out with it. On the tray is coated chicken, chips and sweet corn. Looked great and definitely filling. Staff were pleasant and helpful. Price was good as well

We stopped here without a reservation and we’re lucky enough to get a seat. Husband ordered a bare grills burger, he said it was very good. I ordered the burnt ends, a coleslaw and we got naked dirty fries to share. It was all delicious! The side order of burnt ends I made into a meal, plenty for us to share! All homemade, all very tasty, the fries were good, well seasoned and the cheese sauce is delicious! We would definitely visit again! Would recommend booking as they had to turn away ALOT of people on a Sunday lunch time!

Good food and service. There was a single person doing everything from seating people to cooking and serving. He did a great job under all the pressure. The service was great, the food went down a treat. But please treat your staff better.

Don't believe the reviews, awesome place! Huge portions with proper pulled pork/brisket, dirty juicy burgers and huge portions of fries all cooked to perfection. Better burger than Beefy Boys, these guys should get an award Also very attentive friendly staff

Having hunted around Bath for a steak dinner at a realistic price on the Sunday evening of the bank holiday weekend we settled on Bare Grills. We had read the reviews but decided it was the best option available and boy were we right! They were busy but quickly made a 2 seater table available for us. The restaurant is decorated in a modern, light industrial style with some wall signs and yellow strip lights in black reflector trays with black mesh openings. They have booth tables, double tops and some open 4 seaters. The loo is up in the gods about 3 floors above the restaurant. I had the grilled chicken breast with spicy fries and coleslaw, a portion of macaroni cheese as I hadn't eaten since 8am and a 330ml bottle of fizzy water. My friend had the ribeye steak with spicy fries and two 330ml bottles of Corona beer. The food came after a 5 to 10 minute wait and was clearly freshly cooked and was delicious throughout. My friend, a "steakonista" said the ribeye was up there with the best he's ever had and he's had more than a few. The service was top class from start to finish and our bill was just over 51 which based on the quality and our extensive experience of London prices was a bargain even though we were in Bath, one of the most popular tourist towns in the UK where you can expect inflated prices. Overall a fairly priced, tasty meal that was the right amount and cooked perfectly. Thank you

We had a sirloin steak and BBQ ribs. The steak was cooked perfectly to my request; the ribs were beautifully seasoned and pretty much falling off the bone, and the fries were delicious as was the coleslaw. The man who I think must have been the manager was really lovely and helpful, and the rest of the staff were great too. Fairly quick service. Not too overpriced. We definitely want to come back to try the rest of the menu as we were so impressed.
